Overview
Whether purposely-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices.
This PADI Wreck Diver specialty course can be credited to your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
What to Expect
The PADI Wreck Diver course has three components:
- Knowledge Development. Your instructor will issue your elearning materials needed for your home-study. Once you are done reading the eLearning, you have to answer the knowledge reviews online.
- Land Drills. You will learn how to survey a wreck and also use lines and reels. These will be practiced on land before demonstrating mastery underwater.
- Open Water Dives. There will be 4 training dives to be done over 2 days.
This is the typical class schedule. We have flexibility in adjusting the program. Feel free to let us know your availability and preference so we can tailor-fit the program that suits you.
